President said that Silvério dos Reis was hanged for informing, but the informer died of natural causes in 1819

Joaquim José da Silva Xavier, known as Tiradentes, was hanged in 1792 for participating in the Conjuração Mineira. Joaquim Silvério dos Reis, the whistleblower mentioned by Lula, had a different fate.
Silvério dos Reis received rewards from the Portuguese Crown after denouncing the participants of the Conjuração Mineira. He was transferred to São Luís, where he assumed the position of militia chief.
Silvério dos Reis died in 1819, of natural causes, without suffering any punishment for his act of office.
