Work received R$6.5 million from the New PAC; headquarters replaces rented property and expands campus structure
The president (PT) will participate this Tuesday (June 2, 2026) in the inauguration of the definitive headquarters of the IF Goiano (Instituto Federal Goiano) in Catalão, in the southeast of Goiás. The ceremony is scheduled for 9:15 am and will be attended by the Minister of Education, Leonardo Barchini.
The work received R$6.5 million from the New PAC (Growth Acceleration Program), an amount equivalent to more than 70% of the total investment. The headquarters replaces the previously used rented property and expands the campus structure, which has 1,210 enrollments, including professional qualification courses.
After his schedule at IF Goiano, Lula will participate in the inauguration of the UFCAT University Hospital (Federal University of Catalão), at 11:30 am. The unit serves 56 municipalities in the Center-Southeast macroregion of Goiás and received R$27 million in equipment from the Ministry of Health.
