TAP revealed the plane that will transport the National Team to the World Cup, an Airbus A330-900neo decorated with the symbol of the Portuguese Football Federation and the message “It’s Portugal Time”.
There is, however, one detail that is catching the attention of fans. The aircraft, with registration CS-TUM, was named in 2019 after Nuno Álvares Pereira, one of the most notable figures in the history of Portugal, known for his decisive role in the crisis of 1383-1385 and for never having lost a battle in the service of the country.
For many, the coincidence could serve as inspiration for the Brazilian team on its way towards the much-desired world title.
