On June 6th, the Algarve hosts another edition of Mercadinho do Bebé, one of the biggest national events dedicated to pregnancy, babies and families. The initiative takes place between 10am and 7pm, at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Vilamoura, bringing together brands, experts and activities aimed at future and new parents.
With free entry, the event is organized by Mamães e Bebês and features a wide range of experiences, workshops, promotions and activities designed to support families during pregnancy and children’s first years of life.
In addition to the informative and commercial component, the initiative is once again associated with a charitable cause, supporting AIPAR – Association for the Protection of Girls and Families. The organization invites visitors to contribute a symbolic donation of two euros per family, an amount that will be fully donated to the association.
Workshops, brands and experiences for the whole family
Throughout the day, participants will be able to get in touch with some of the top brands in the child care and maternity sector, including Barral, Gerber, Chicco, Dodot, Dr. Browns, BebêCord, Baby Kanguroo and Farmácia Maria Paula.
Visitors will also have access to several free workshops led by specialized professionals, covering topics such as pelvic physiotherapy, preparation for childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care and other topics related to parenthood.
According to João Duarte, representative of Mamães e Bebês, “Mercadinho do Bebê is an excellent opportunity for future and new parents to discover new things, purchase quality products and discover brands that stand out in the children’s market”.
The person responsible adds that “In addition, providing relevant information that is so important at this special stage, and creating unique family moments, is also one of the objectives of this event, which is already a reference at national level”.
Event supports social institution and offers prizes to participants
The program also includes several free activities for families, such as photo shoots offering digital photography, makeup, the possibility of listening to the baby’s heartbeat, face painting, balloon modeling and infant feeding workshops.
Participants will also be able to win a basket of products and services valued at more than 2,000 euros, offered by partner brands. The first visitors will also receive a bag with samples and gifts.
João Duarte highlights that “the success of the editions already carried out leads us to believe that the mission that supported the creation of the project; providing more information about the period of pregnancy and the baby’s first year of life; makes more and more sense and that the Baby Mercadinho, as a physical space that represents and translates this information, is fundamental. And here we are with another edition and with a space in which we can come together and create unique family moments.”
