An Atlas/Intel survey released on Wednesday (3) shows that the majority of Brazilians show low or no degree of concern about the possibility of the United States government, under the presidency of Donald Trump, trying to influence the 2026 Brazilian presidential election.
According to the survey, 45.5% of those interviewed say they are “not at all worried” about possible US interference in the dispute over the Palácio do Planalto and 10.9% say they are “little worried”.
On the other hand, 36.5% of those interviewed are “very worried” about the possibility of the presidential election in Brazil in October this year. Still according to the survey, 6.9% said they were “somewhat worried” about this chance.
The survey interviewed 1,273 Brazilian adults digitally between May 30 and June 3, 2026. The margin of error is three percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%.
