The Ministry of Transport confirmed that it will allocate R$50 million to rebuild part of the ANTT (National Land Transport Agency) budget, after the blocking of resources promoted by the federal government last week. The agency had lost R$56.9 million with the measure.
Last Tuesday (2), in an interview with CNN, the general director of ANTT, Guilherme Sampaio, had already stated that there was the possibility of the ministry carrying out a budget restructuring to reduce the impacts of the cut.
In a note, the department reported that “it made savings in funding expenses, including those linked to it, in order to meet ANTT”.
