Spain and Iraq face each other this Thursday (4), at 4pm (Brasília time), in the team’s penultimate friendly before the start of the 2026 World Cup. The duel takes place at the Abanca Riazor Stadium, in A Coruña.
One of the favorites for the World Cup title, they have been unbeaten since June last year, when they were beaten, on penalties, by Portugal in the UEFA Nations League final. In normal time, coach Luis de la Fuente’s team does not lose in 2024, in a friendly against Colombia.
The Spanish are in Group H and will make their debut on June 15th, against Cape Verde, at 1pm (Brasília time). Iraq, in turn, is part of Group I, alongside France, Norway and Senegal. THE ESPN (closed TV) and the Disney+ (streaming) broadcast the match.
