Vienna – The three governing parties ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos praised the agreement on the double budget for the years 2027/28 in a joint broadcast on Sunday. The double budget, which Finance Minister Markus Marterbauer (SPÖ) will present in the plenary session on Wednesday, has the motto “Resurgence. Justice. Reforms”. This is “not a crisis budget. But it is a budget in a crisis,” as it was said in a joint release.
