The CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) said that tests showed a “good evolution” in Neymar’s treatment this Monday (8), but avoided setting a date for the athlete’s recovery, saying that the player “follows the planned physical recovery process”.
The Brazilian national team player continues to recover from a grade 2 muscle injury in his right calf. The Santos athlete has been undergoing treatment since the presentation of the squad for the 2026 World Cup.
“The athlete Neymar underwent magnetic resonance imaging this Monday. The examination showed good progress in his treatment, within the expected parameters. He will follow the recovery and physical preparation process planned by the Brazilian National Team’s medical committee”, says a statement from the organization
