Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) once again placed Pix at the center of the political dispute by releasing, this Sunday (7), a video produced with artificial intelligence that directly associates the payment system with the government of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
The piece, published on the social media of the pre-candidate for Planalto, uses a jingle in a funk rhythm to defend the narrative that Pix would be an achievement of the previous government. In the images generated by AI, Bolsonaro appears dancing, playing the tambourine and wearing a t-shirt with the phrase “Pix is from Bolsonaro, my love”.
The publication came after the instant payments system became one of the centers of narratives between government and opposition, days after the US government recommended the imposition of trade tariffs against Brazil, using the Brazilian model as one of the justifications.
In the video, Flávio also appears alongside supporters wearing the same t-shirt as the former president. The song repeats the association between Bolsonaro and Pix several times, in addition to suggesting that political opponents are trying to appropriate the creation of the tool.
In light of the debate, the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) began to adopt the slogan “Pix is ours”, seeking to reinforce the public character of the system developed by the Central Bank.
