PT says Nunes Marques’ decision is a dangerous precedent – 06/08/2026 – Panel

Members of the (PT) campaign reacted with concern to the decision of the president of the (Superior Electoral Court), to suspend a survey that showed a drop in voting intentions for ().

The president of the court stated that the questionnaire led the interviewee to have a negative perception, citing the exchange of messages between the senator and the owner of the Master bank, .

In the PT campaign, the assessment is that Nunes Marques’ decision could set a dangerous precedent. Sources say, with reservations, that the injunction is a bad sign.

The fear is that the new president of the TSE will adopt a more interventionist stance in this year’s elections.
