Honoring the original peoples, , in Mexico, the ceremony that opened the games in Canada featured singers, colors and representations of Canadian culture. The show took place at Toronto Stadium, also known as BMO Field.
After speech by Canadian indigenous singer Willian Prince and a performance with native peoplesCanadian singer and 2018 Grammy winner Alessia Cara sang the first song of the opening.

It was possible to identify several empty seats in the stands. Also a Canadian singer will sing Canada’s national anthem before the game, which is scheduled to start at 4pm. The Bosnian anthem will be performed by Aleksandar Gajic.
