Influencer Fábio Giga breaks silence after Porsche accident that left 2 injured

Influencer Fábio Giga, who crashed his Porsche 911 in São Paulo last Saturday (6) against two motorcycles, wounding two men, aged 51 and 43, spoke out for the first time after the accident. In a post on social media, Giga says he provides assistance to the victims and apologizes for the incident.

“My priority, from the first moment, was to monitor the situation of the people involved and guarantee all necessary assistance. Out of respect for those involved and their families, I understood that the most important thing was to provide support and assistance before any public demonstration”, he wrote.

According to the incident report, the driver would have lost control of the steering after passing through an “irregularity” on the road. The bodybuilder’s Porsche, which costs around R$1 million, he skidded, collided with two motorbikes – throwing the drivers onto the road -, hit two cars and then a wall. The accident was recorded by security cameras.

This is the first time that the influencer has spoken out in a note. According to Giga, Despite the material damage, the main concern has always been the physical integrity of the victims.

“I reinforce that those involved and their families will continue to receive all the necessary support and assistance. My commitment is that no one will be left destitute at any time”, he stated.

In a note on Instagram on Saturday night, His defense said that the influencer took a breathalyzer test, and the result was negative for alcohol.

The note, signed by his lawyer, Jaqueline Almeida de Jesus, also highlights that the information at the time of posting was that the victims were conscious, stable and without risk of death.

Who is Fábio Giga?

Giga gained notoriety when he met, in 2013, important names in Brazilian bodybuilding, such as Léo Stronda and Felipe Franco. In 2014, he was champion of São Paulo in the super heavyweight category. He initially became known in the bodybuilding world and, later, transformed his audience into a media, consultancy and gym business.

Born in Santo André, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, the athlete created an influential and profitable digital brand. Giga’s personal story brings classic elements of overcoming that are often popular on the internet.

The youngest of a humble and large family, he began his professional life when he was still a teenager and for 15 years he worked as a metalworker and turner. Bodybuilding became part of his routine when he was 18 years old. Years later, after being fired from the factory where he worked, he decided to study nutrition, transforming what until then was a hobby into a career.

The international competitive peak came in 2020, when he won the Super Heavyweight and Overall categories at the Arnold Classic Ohio Amateur contest, in the USA, which guaranteed him the coveted “pro card” from the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation – a document that guarantees access to the world bodybuilding elite.
