Local mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed a fire in the Assumption Cathedral
Russia attacked Kiev again in the early hours of Monday with cruise, hypersonic and ballistic missiles.
According to the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, the attacks caused a fire in the historic center, more specifically in the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery.
“Fire on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery. Fire on the roof of the Assumption Cathedral”, .
Klitschko also said that there were at least five injured people in the capital, who have already been hospitalized.
