“Super Mario Bros.” was auctioned for $3 million

Passionate collectors of retro video games have been moaning about the sharply rising prices for several years. The days when you could make a sensational find at the flea market for just a few euros are definitely over. However, an auction that took place last week brought in a new, unprecedented record value. A sealed copy of Super Mario Bros. has now been sold for a record sum of three million dollars. This makes the NES game the most expensive selling video game of all time.
