Tehran if committed to diluting its enriched uraniumand the United States, together with allied countries, promised to sponsor a 300 billion dollar reconstruction fund for Iranaccording to a memorandum of understanding between the two countries released by American authorities this Wednesday (17).
Iran may resume oil sales as soon as the memorandum is signed, according to the text shared with journalists.
The two countries will negotiate a mechanism to manage Iran’s enriched uranium reserves “with a methodology to carry out dilution in situ under the supervision of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)”, stated a senior government official, reading the text.
In “coordination with regional partners,” the United States “commits to developing a definitive, mutually agreed upon plan for reconstruction and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in minimum value of 300 billion dollars (1.51 trillion reais)”, he added.
End of the War
The United States and Iran arrived on Sunday (14) at a peace agreement and the “immediate and permanent” end of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. It is the strongest sign yet that the war in the Middle East is nearing an end after more than three months. The agreement signing ceremony, in Geneva, is scheduled for Friday (19).

Shortly after Sharif and Trump, the Iran confirmed the peace agreement. Iranian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, declared on the night of Sunday (14) to Monday (15) that the agreement with the United States establishes a “immediate end to the war”.
“Firstly, the immediate and definitive end of the war and military operations on the different fronts, including Lebanon”, replied the diplomat on state television. added that Iran won the war triggered by Israel and the United States.
“The enemy, who attacked to carry out his malicious designs, saw all his objectives reduced to nothing, and the Islamic Republic of Iran achieved great victories in this war,” declared Gharibabadi.
