O President Lula (PT) countered this Wednesday (17) the and said that, if the republican knows Brazil through the Bolsonaro family, he does not know the country.
The American said earlier that Brazil was a “politically dangerous” country and that “They play hard, but no one plays harder than the USA.” He also confused Eduardo Bolsonaro with Flávio Bolsonaro and said he knew that one of Jair Bolsonaro’s sons had been arrested.
In response, commenting on the elections, Lula said that Trump has to learn from Brazil’s elections. “Next time, I’ll take an electronic voting machine to show him how it works,” said Lula.
The statement was made at a press conference after the G7 summit in Geneva, Switzerland. Regarding the new taxes imposed on Brazil, Lula said it was a “brazen” decision, and that is why he said that Trump acts like an emperor.
Lula also said that was surprised by the rates and the decision to include the First Capital Command and the Red Command on the US list of terrorist organizations.
“I had told him: these criminal factions are terrorists for the Brazilian people. For the people of the communities”, he said.
Negotiation
He also stated that governments are still negotiating. Lula also said that he delivered a document regarding the fight against organized crime to Trump and that the Brazil is willing and ready to help the US in this matter.
“They are the ones who smuggle weapons into Brazil. All the weapons that the Federal Police seize in Brazil come from Miami,” said Lula.
O PT member also said that Trump “talks a lot and listens little”which is why he made a point of delivering physical documents to him.
About money laundering, Lula denounced that Delaware is an acquaintance paradise for criminal organizations and even for Brazilian terrorist groups.
