Russian airstrikes hit the cities of Sloviansk and Zaporizhia in eastern Ukraine. The attacks left dead and injured and left the city in flames.

Russian attacks on cities in eastern and southeastern Ukraine have claimed at least four lives, officials there said late Tuesday. Reuters drew attention to it, writes TASR.

Prosecutors in the Donetsk region reported that three people were killed and five others were injured in two bomb attacks on the city of Sloviansk.

Drone attacks in Zaporizhia

In the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, a wave of drone attacks was reported, which, according to the police, resulted in one death and seven injuries.

The governor of the Zaporozhye region, Ivan Fedorov, confirmed that the city was the target of a total of five attacks, which, among other things, also caused fires in a residential building and a shopping center. According to him, the educational institution was also damaged.

Denial of attacks on civilians

Reuters could not independently verify these reports. The agency emphasizes that both Russia and Ukraine have repeatedly denied that they deliberately attack civilians.
