A Brava Energy reported on Wednesday night (17) that it had received an arbitration request from Westlawn Energy Brazil relating to the Atlanta Field because of the transaction involving the sale of Brava to Colombian Ecopetrol.
According to Brava’s material fact, Westlawn understands that the OPA and Ecopetrol “could trigger Westlawn’s right of first refusal to acquire the company’s interest in the Atlanta Field at market value.”
“The company and its advisors understand that the allegations presented by Westlawn lack and are not supported by us”, added Brava.
