BEIRUT, Jun 19 (Reuters) – Lebanese Hezbollah parliamentarian Hassan Fadlallah told Reuters that Iran had informed the group that negotiations with the United States could not continue without the implementation of a comprehensive ceasefire.
He urged the Lebanese government to reject any direct negotiations with Israel while Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, and asserted that Washington has a responsibility to ensure that Israel suspends its attacks and complies with the terms of the agreement.
