Hezbollah says Iran conditions dialogue with US on comprehensive ceasefire

BEIRUT, ⁠Jun 19 (Reuters) – ⁠Lebanese ‌Hezbollah parliamentarian Hassan Fadlallah told ‌Reuters that Iran had informed ⁠the group ‌that ⁠negotiations with the United States could not continue without the implementation of a comprehensive ceasefire.

He urged the Lebanese government ⁠to reject ​any direct negotiations with Israel while ​Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, ⁠and asserted that Washington has a responsibility to ensure that Israel ⁠suspends its attacks ⁠and complies with the terms of the agreement.
