A Attorney General’s Office defended that minister André Mendonça be the rapporteur of the investigation involving the case Dark Horse at the Federal Supreme Court. The decision weakens the thesis that Flavio Dino should be responsible for the investigation at the STF.
During the CNN 360º this Tuesday, the political analyst Matheus Teixeira detailed the situation. Federal deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) presented a request for investigation against Flávio Bolsonaro within the inquiry conducted by the minister Alexandre de Moraeswhich already has Eduardo Bolsonaro, convicted at the end of last week, as a target.
“Moraes, however, sent it to the PGR, which argued that the rapporteur should be Minister André Mendonça, who is the rapporteur”, explained Teixeira.
The logic presented by the Attorney General’s Office is that, there is money from Banco Master involvedit would be up to André Mendonça to investigate the issue.
Teixeira highlighted, however, that there was still a third hypothesis: that Flavio Dino assumed the role of rapporteur, as he had already investigated, in his office, the case of parliamentary amendments sent to the production company responsible for the film. With , this possibility has been weakened.
It should be up to the president of the STF, Edson Fachinwhich may still adopt a fourth option: “Carrying out a draw as there is not exactly a clear connection with any of these three cases”, stated the analyst.
Teixeira classified it as “hasty reading” to imagine that Flávio Dino would “cause more headaches” for Flávio Bolsonaro in reporting the case because he was a minister appointed by Lula.
He recalled that André Mendonça, nominated by Bolsonaro, has already imposed setbacks on allies of the former presidentlike the senator and former minister of Bolsonaro, Ciro Nogueira (Progressistas-PI).
“It is difficult to pinpoint what could be better, more beneficial, more harmful. This more hasty reading of the political world would not necessarily come to fruition”, concluded the analyst
