The Special Olympics Austria is growing and growing. In 2026, the 9th National Summer Games will go down as the largest in their history. Around 1,800 athletes with intellectual disabilities – more than ever before – are taking part from today, Thursday, until June 30th. In total, competitions in 19 sports will be held at twelve locations throughout Vienna. The center will be the Sport Arena Vienna, entry to the competitions is free.
