Leaders show solidarity with Venezuela after earthquakes

Leaders from different countries and authorities reacted to those who hit Venezuela on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) and. The official report does not yet include possible victims in La Guaira, a coastal state neighboring Caracas and identified by the Venezuelan government as the region most affected by the tremors.

The president of Brazil, (PT), received the news “with great concern and consternation”. The President of the United States, (Republican Party), told Truth Social that the 2 earthquakes were “massive in scale” and left “a devastating number of deaths”. The USA, according to him, “are ready, willing and able” to help. “I have instructed all agencies of our government to prepare to act quickly”he said, highlighting that the first reports “they are not good”.

The former president of Venezuela, , published a message of solidarity. In a text attributed to him and Cilia Flores, who both pray for the affected families, the injured and all of Venezuela. “Today the word is one: maximum union, maximum solidarity and maximum action”he declared. The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum (Morena, left), said that the country’s Foreign Affairs Secretariat has contacted the Venezuelan government. “I have already instructed the preparation of the necessary aid. For now, we have been asked for support with specialized rescue and health personnel. Mexico is always and will be supportive”.

The president of Panama, (Accomplishing Goals, right), also supports it. “Our greatest solidarity and support for Venezuela due to the earthquake and its consequences”he declared. He stated that Panama offers humanitarian aid to the country.

The president of Chile, (Republican Party, right), who makes himself available to the Venezuelan government to coordinate the sending of humanitarian aid and collaborate with rescue teams. “Chile and Venezuela united to face this tragedy”he declared.
