The former first lady () decided to record videos because she grew tired of what she described as a series of coordinated attacks and false information, according to allies she spoke to over the past few months.
According to them, Michelle tried to put an end to the unfair, sexist and cowardly attacks they have suffered — and which affect not only her, but also her youngest daughter, who is a teenager.
Michelle’s brother, pre-candidate for district deputy Eduardo Torres (PL) published a text on social media in which he says that she said “very little in light of everything that has happened” and that she has already witnessed it and even needed to intervene.
“There are criticisms, demands, insulting accusations and injustices. The response for a long time was silence. Attacked by many even for her silence, she could no longer bear such injustice and decided to make some clarifications”, she said.
People close to Michelle claim that the videos were not motivated by a specific episode, but rather by an accumulation of situations that upset her, exposed her and strained her relationship with her stepchildren.

In the post, Eduardo says that federal deputy André Fernandes (PL-CE), president of the PL in Ceará, is doing the right thing by allying himself with Ciro Gomes (PSDB) and thanks him and his father, (PL), for “doing a serious and intelligent job”.
Eduardo’s statement came in response to a video in which Fernandes reaffirms the alliance with Ciro for governor of Ceará, says that he will vote for him and not for senator Eduardo Girão (Novo-CE) and that Michelle “does whatever she wants”.

Another point of friction between Michelle and Bolsonaro’s children on the Ceará ticket is the candidacy for the Senate.
According to reports, Michelle made an outburst during the week saying she was saddened by the party’s decision to insist on the name of André’s father, Alcides Fernandes (PL), instead of Fortaleza councilor Priscila Costa (PL).
Michelle’s allies also consider the news saying that she is angry with Flávio because she would like to be a candidate for president to be unfair. Friends of Michelle claim that she has no desire to run for President and has never even put herself forward as a pre-candidate for the Senate.
