A Sheet launches this Thursday (25) an interactive tool that brings together all the goals scored in the 2026 World Cup.
The product allows subscribers to explore, play by play, each of the balls that found the net in the tournament played in North America.
It is possible to filter goals by selection, player, part of the body used in the shot (head, right foot, left foot or others), type of play (rolling ball, dead ball, corner, penalty or own goal) and number of touches until the completion of the move.
By hovering the mouse or clicking on a goal, the reader has access to the complete play sheet, with the exact position of the shot in the goal, the ball’s path and the movement of the players on the field until the moment of the shot.
The data comes from Opta, a reference company in football statistics, and the tool is updated at the end of each match, incorporating the goals from the most recent round.
The project is developed by the Infographics team, and is part of the FolhaStats initiative, coverage of Sheet with a statistical look at the 104 World Cup games.
