Vienna – Temperatures up to 40 degrees and possibly one or two massive thunderstorms at the weekend: Austria, like several other countries in Central Europe, is facing three difficult days. As early as Thursday, representatives of the government and the states, together with the emergency organizations, were preparing for the heat wave in the coming days. Accordingly, the State Crisis and Disaster Protection Management (SKKM) was convened at the request of the responsible Ministry of Health.
