Domes Lake Algarve has a new director and has a degree in Physics

The has a new operational director. Nadia Kostopoulou was appointed hotel manager of the five-star unit located next to Praia da Falésia, now assuming leadership of the resort’s daily operations.

The manager has been linked to the Domes Resorts group since 2017, when it began its activities in Greece. He arrived in the Algarve around five years ago, initially as haute living managerlater becoming director of Guest Experiencean area where I closely monitored guest experience and service standards.

In a statement, the hotel highlights that Nadia played an important role in reinforcing the unit’s identity as a reference in the luxury segment in the region.

“His promotion to hotel manager represents the natural continuation of a trajectory marked by commitment, consistency and in-depth knowledge of the operation”, says the unit. In addition to her experience in Portugal and Greece, Nadia Kostopoulou also worked in Egypt and worked for brands such as The Westin and Autograph Collection.

Unusual route

The new person in charge has an academic background that is unusual in the hotel industry: she has a degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Tourism and Business Management.

“It is with great pride that I take on this role,” said Nadia, adding that she will continue to focus “on people, guests and the continuous improvement of the experience”. The change comes at a time when Domes Lake Algarve continues to consolidate its position in Algarve luxury tourism.
