Fico took an uncompromising position: He wants to set clear boundaries when it comes to helping Ukraine

The highest constitutional officials should meet next week regarding the Slovak government’s position on the July NATO summit in Ankara to the proposal of military aid to Ukraine. Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) wants to conduct negotiations in such a way that the Slovak delegation does not have a mandate to approve Slovakia’s involvement in war loans. He stated this in the Slovak Radio’s discussion program Sobotné dialogy.
