It is among women that the senator experiences greater electoral difficulties, a fact that has become even more worrying for his campaign after the harsh videos against him,
The proposals have been centralized in the campaign for , if the senator is elected.
Next Wednesday (1st) right-wing political leaders will participate in a Flávio pre-campaign meeting in Brasília to hear the proposals and present suggestions. There should also be a discussion of how to help publicize the points present there.
Among others, senators Tereza Cristina (PP-MS) and Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF) and federal deputies Bia Kicis (PL-DF) and Simone Marquetto (PP-SP), among others, should participate.
The idea is to launch the program, currently unnamed, in July. The details are being defined, but it will have three axes: protection, opportunities and care.
The objective is for the document to contain measures to prevent women from suffering physical violence from men, which involves them having financial independence. The reasoning is that without economic autonomy, it is not possible to get rid of potential abusers. Measures in the area of entrepreneurship are being studied.
There will also be a section on the so-called care economy, which falls disproportionately on women and includes domestic work and protecting relatives. An estimate on which Flávio’s pre-campaign is based is that today the care economy represents 8.5% of GDP.
