Germany and Paraguay face each other this Monday (29), at 5:30 pm, in the second round of the World Cup. Whoever wins advances to the round of 16 of the competition, whoever loses says goodbye to the tournament. The game will be held at the Boston stadium, in the United States.
Germany arrives for the knockout game after 12 years without being able to advance in the competitions, the last time was in 2014, when they were champions of the World Cup in Brazil. In the group stage they won two games, guaranteeing early classification, and lost the last game to Ecuador.
Paraguay, which returned to the competition after 16 years, lost its debut 4-1 to the United States, won the second game against Turkey 1-0 and drew with Australia in the last game of the group stage, guaranteeing classification among the eight best third-placed teams.
