The game between Railroad Worker, from Paraná, and América-MG, valid for the 6th round of Serie B of the Brazilian Championship, was marked by a report of racial injury. The referee followed the official protocol of FIFA and CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) and maintained the match paralyzed for more than 15 minutes.
The complaint came from striker Allano, who reports that he was the target of racist offenses given by Bolivian Miguelito, midfielder. According to the news site Arede, Miguelito was arrested by the Civil Police of Paraná after the match. THE Sheet He tried to contact the police authority Parananese through the press office phones, between 6am and 6:45 am, but to no avail.
In a statement, the South team repudiated the alleged offenses and said they are looking for images to take appropriate action. América-MG has not yet commented.
The worker won 1-0 playing at home. The confusion happened around 30 minutes of the first half.
According to Allano, the opponent gave the offenses after a ball dispute. Miguelito would have gone towards the striker of the team from Paraná and the cursed. The content of the offenses has not yet been disclosed.
After the alleged curse, Allano and midfielder Jacy, also from the ghost, went to the Bolivian. Then they called referee Alisson Sidnei Furtado, who made the signal used to indicate racial injury – with the arms crossed in X – and stopped the game.
During the confusion, the workers of the worker revolted and shot glasses against players from America. A man in the crowd was removed from the stadium by the police.
After checking the images of the bid, the referee had the departure follow and Miguelito continued on the field. Allano received a yellow card in a next move for giving an entrance to the midfielder’s midfielder, which was replaced in the break.
In a statement, the railway worker says that “he vehemently repudiates any act of racism,” and “is seeking images and other elements to confirm the facts and take appropriate measures in the face of the severity of the situation.”
“We reinforce that the worker is providing all the necessary support to the Allano athlete and will follow firmly in his commitment to the fight against racism, on and off the field. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination,” says the text.
