US President Donald Trump once again cracked down on Iran’s recent attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting that the war prevented Tehran from developing nuclear weapons. “They can’t do these things,” the Republican said of Iranian attacks on ships in the Persian Gulf, in a keynote speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Policy conference in Washington.
The American president stressed that “Iran still has some military capacity, but not much”. Earlier, the president commented that Iran fired at least four unidirectional attack drones at vessels crossing the road.
With the gradual reopening of Hormuz and the decline in oil prices, Trump also stated that he believes that gasoline will fall to US$2.50 a gallon “very soon” in the USA.
