F1 riders drive Lego cars in parade before the Miami GP

Royal replicas built with 400,000 pieces traveled 5.4 km from the American circuit

The 20 Formula 1 grid pilots participated on Sunday (4.MAI.2025), on the Miami circuit, a royal replica parade of their cars, built entirely with lego pieces.

The activity happened hours before the official race and replaced the traditional ride with the layout.

The replicas traveled the 5.4 km of the circuit, each conducted by the respective pilot. Each model was made with about 400,000 lego pieces, weighs a ton and reaches up to 20 km/h.

The Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto directed a version of Sauber made with the setting blocks. All competitors of the season participated in the action, including Max Verstappen.

The replicas followed the original colors and sponsors of the F1 teams and were mounted with pirelli tires, the same as those used in real cars. Formula 1 reported that LEGO models will be used in other 2025 season, without revealing which evidence.

The action was part of a promotional campaign that will be repeated in other stages of the F1 calendar in 2025. The event was held on Sunday morning, before the official race.
