The investigation that led to the operation on Thursday (June 25) began with the murder of Adauto in 2020. According to the MP-SP and the Civil Police, evidence was gathered about the use of the dealership by the PCC to launder money. The company received more than R$300 million from the São Paulo transport system in 2025 alone.
Investigators claim that there was a parallel nucleus responsible for decisions related to Transunião, including the transfer of values to criminals linked to the PCC. The investigation also highlights suspicions in the company’s corporate change.
