Vinícius Júnior was, without a doubt, “the guy” in the first phase of the Brazilian team at the 2026 World Cup.
In all three games — victory over Haiti, draw with Morocco and 3-0 defeat against Scotland — Vini Jr. was the great individual highlight. Four goals scored (one in each match, with a brace against the Scots), three times named man of the match and performances that made the fans repeat: “he carried the team”. And, let’s face it, it’s hard to disagree.
In fact, Scotland’s defense had one of the worst individual performances in the group stage, especially against Brazil. Silly mistakes, wrong ball releases and positioning errors were severely punished. Brazil, as expected, took advantage of the gaps very well.
The fact is that, for various tactical and collective reasons, the Seleção still depends heavily on a player in a state of grace to unbalance the games. And, at the moment, this player is called Vinícius Júnior.
And then the wizards come in…
Only the wizards know the results of the next phase — and there are many of them when it comes to Brazilian football. They do not hide their attraction to magic, they show signs of a good relationship with the supernatural and have already predicted that, by the end of Brazil’s participation in the World Cup, Vinicius will be the team’s biggest highlight.
I believe that it will significantly increase the number of hits for our magicians. Because, let’s face it, when Vini Jr. is like this… even wizards become more confident.
