Amidst the wear and tear caused by the senator and pre-candidate for President, Flavio Bolsonarohas a schedule this Friday (26) in Goiáswith participation in the traditional Pilgrimage of the Divine Eternal Father, in Trindade.
The move comes days after the former first lady exposed internal disagreements e increase tension around the Bolsonarist core. Since then, allies have sought reduce political impact of the episode, while the senator tries recompose the narrative of unity not conservative camp.
The schedule foresees, at 5 pm, the concentration and departure of the Caminhada da Fé, with a meeting point at Auto Posto Romaria, on GO-060, in Goiânia. The route heads towards the Sanctuary Basilica of the Divine Eternal Father, in Trindade.
Arrival is scheduled for 8:30 pm, when the senator will be received at the sanctuary by Father Marco Aurélio Martins da Silva, at Praça Dom Antônio Ribeiro de Oliveira.
A Pilgrimage of the Divine Eternal Father is considered one of the largest religious demonstrations in the country and brings together thousands of believers in the Midwest. In the political environment, Flávio’s participation in an event with strong religious symbolism is seen as a gesture of rapprochement with the conservative base amid recent internal tensions.
