Germans are increasingly shopping online. 39 percent of adults now shop online at least once a week, according to a representative survey published on Monday by GfK consumer researchers for the card provider Mastercard. In the previous year the proportion was 34 percent. In particular, multiple purchases during the week have increased significantly, from 19 to 25 percent. Almost one in twenty respondents even orders online several times a day.
