Raúl Jiménez pays tribute to Diogo Jota after a goal in the Gold Cup final

Raúl Jiménez, a Mexican striker and former Benfica player, paid a sense of Diogo Jota during the Gold Cup final. The tribute took place last weekend against the United States at a meeting where Mexico won 2-1 after being at a disadvantage.

Jiménez, who was Jota’s team colleague at Wolverhampton, scored the goal of a draw on 27 minutes and dedicated the celebration to the Portuguese International International. After the goal, he ran to the bench to fetch a black jersey of the Mexican team with number 20 and the name of Diogo Jota printed. He then sat on the pitch and reproduced the emblematic celebration of Portuguese, simulating being playing with a console command.
