A five-star hotel, with 158 units, will be built in an area of 20,000 m2 next to Meia Praia, in the Algarve, representing an investment of 60 million euros, was announced this Monday.
According to a statement, Map Engenharia e Construção has just been hired to perform the construction contract of that five -star tourist resort in Meia Praia, Lagos, Faro district.
According to the note, the endeavor consists of the construction of a resort composed of the hotel, with 158 units, representing an investment of 60 million euros, in a location next to the beach.
The project, led by Reify, includes a gross construction area of about 20,000 m2 and 22,500 m2 of outer zone arrangements, on urban ground overlooking the sea and the golf course of Palmares.
The work is promoted by in partnership with PGIM REAL ESTATE and IHSP – Iberian Hospitality Solutions.
The MAP group stresses that this endeavor requires “high standards” of construction, materials and finishes and the new resort will affirm itself as “an icon of hospitality and contemporary architecture”.
José Rui Meneses and Castro, Co-CEO of the group, quoted in the note, says that “this is a demanding project, with standards of international excellence.”
