Police detained the MEP

According to Novinky.cz server, MEP was detained at the airport in Kišinov. The authorities described him as “a threat to public order and national security” and also confiscated his diplomatic passport, which he returned to him in Romania. “They gave me only some paper I refused to sign, saying that they will not let me go for any Moldova warning,” Dostal said.

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs was also informed of the event. “The Moldovan authorities informed the Czech Embassy in Kišinov this morning that they denied joining the country yesterday to several people who are suspected of threatening national security. There was also a Czech citizen among the detainees,” said Daniel Drake, a spokesman for the Czech diplomacy department.
