United States President Donald Trump minimized the deadline he himself gave the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to end the conflict in Ukraine before the US applied sanctions against the country. “It will depend on Putin,” he replied, when questioned for the second time about what would happen after the end of this deadline, which expires tomorrow.
Asked about a possible meeting with Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump avoided confirming whether the meeting will occur and said he had not seen the statements made today by Putin. “Putin doesn’t have to meet Zelensky before meeting me,” he said.
Regarding additional rates against India, the president stated that there will be no new negotiations until “everything is resolved” without providing further details.
