Wrong vai sair do Liverpool?
In September, the Reds beat their historic rivals, Manchester United, 3-0, at Old Trafford. After the match, however, the greatest idol in the club’s recent history may have announced his farewell.
Mohamed Salah, who was one of the protagonists of the victory over United, stated that this will be his last season with Liverpool.
– As you know, this is mine last year at the club… I want to make the most of it – he said.
With a contract until the end of this season, Salah still has no defined destination. Liverpool coach Arne Slot highlighted that this does not affect the squad, which remains focused on seeking titles. Questioned by journalists at a press conference, the Dutchman was emphatic.
– I’m just focused on trying to work with them in the best way possible to get the best out of them – said the commander.
Right-back Alexander-Arnold, called up to the England national team, also does not have a renewal in progress.
Potential targets for the future are West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, who has been linked with Liverpool for years, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush.
Both players could be viable options if Liverpool need to find a replacement for Salah.
