There were 27 females and 41 attempts at murder in women in Austria in 2024. The country is therefore at the top of such acts of violence across the EU. Nevertheless, they are not treated as an independent legal facts. In Mexico, on the other hand, after years of fighting, female, i.e. the killing of a woman due to her gender, was included in the penal code.
