Gamarra accuses Sánchez of using international policy to “cover her national policy problems”
The Deputy Secretary of Institutional Regeneration of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has accused on Tuesday the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, of using international policy, in reference to the measures against Israel, “as a smoke curtain” to divert attention to the internal problems that affect their executive and their family environment.
This has been expressed during an interview in The critical look From Telecinco in which Gamarra has avoided giving his opinion on whether what happens in Gaza is a genocide, as the government assures, using that to whom the corresponding to define Israel’s performance in Palestine is “exclusively to international courts.”
“Pedro Sánchez, in a own benefit approach, is looking for an international issue to cover the problems he has of national politics in this week,” said the popular leader, putting as an example “the judicial problems of his wife”, the alleged “prostitution business” of his family or problems with “corruption and prostitution in her own government.”
Gamarra has stressed that international politics requires “responsibility and seriousness” and has reproached the Government that instead of being “a state policy in our country” has become a tool “always uses Pedro Sánchez when he has to cover the internal problems he has in Spain.”
On the package of measures announced by the Government against Israel, Gamarra has indicated that until the Royal Decree is not published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) the PP will not be positioned. “When we can read it, when we can analyze those measures, we will pronounce on them,” he added.
In this regard, he recalled that the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has maintained from the first moment that Israel has the right to defend himself against terrorist attacks, but that “he has no right to be entitled to that defense to be attacking the civilian population” because “we must know how to differentiate the civilian Palestinians of the terrorists”, something that in his opinion “Israel is not doing.” (EP)
