Minister Flávio Dino, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), released this Monday (2) the payment of parliamentary amendments, which had been suspended since August by order of the minister himself. For the release, Dino demanded the creation of transparency mechanisms for transfers.
Among the requirements are that, starting next year, bench and committee amendments must have their authors registered in the minutes. The destination of the resources must also be indicated.
Congressmen had been demanding the release of the funds, arguing that they had complied with the agreement signed with the STF and the federal government after the creation of these new rules for parliamentary amendments.

A proposal that changes the criteria for allocating resources was sanctioned last week by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, highlighted the UOL.
The decision was made in the 2022 action in which the STF determined that the secret budget was unconstitutional. Dino inherited the rapporteurship of the case after the retirement of minister Rosa Weber. In August, he ordered the restrictions, considering that the same secret budget practices were being used with other types of amendments.
