According to PF, he is a hidden administrator of a mining company and kept business with the targets investigated. The investigation points out that the facts under suspicion were carried out by Rodrigo Teixeira when he was director of the Federal Police in the management of Andrei Rodrigues.
The investigation also says that the delegate used his public functions to favor his interests. He cites, for example, attempts to interfere with PF investigations that targeted entrepreneurs under investigation.
The inquiry came to the name of Rodrigo Teixeira because of his relationship with one of the investigated entrepreneurs, João Alberto Lages. From this, PF has identified a mining company linked to it and says that entrepreneurs provided mining rights to this company, in exchange for the influence of Rodrigo Teixeira in the public administration.

“This assignment, although documented as ‘free’, was possibly moved by concrete interest: relying on the performance of a federal delegate within the business structure, as a way to gain different access to public agencies, prestige with potential buyers, guarantee of protection in the face of competition or even ongoing investigations. It is an improper advantage by individuals to public agent,” according to the arrest request.
The PF cites, for example, that when Teixeira was the director of the corporation in Brasilia, he scheduled a meeting between businessman João Lages and a director of the National Mining Agency to talk about an ongoing investigation. The investigation also points out that Teixeira may have acted to remove the delegate responsible for the case.
The investigation points to criminal actions that yielded to the group at least R $ 1.5 billion, but the PF highlights that projects were identified in progress linked to the criminal organization with economic potential of over R $ 18 billion.
