Stock, failures and neglect: passengers suffer from precarious bus conditions from Vila do V

Residents of Vila do V, in Porto Acre, face problems daily with the intercity transport that takes them to Rio Branco. Passengers report that buses always circulate crowded, have precarious conditions and break frequently, forcing those who depend on the service to deal with delays and inconvenience.

According to information, the buses that transported workers and students, who needed to reach the capital, presented mechanical failure in the middle of the journey more than once. Passengers were forced to go down and travel on their own or wait at the next point, demonstrating revolt with the situation.

“This is not the first time this has happened. The ticket only increases and the buses are still horrible. Many depend on this transportation every day to work or study, and this is a lack of respect,” said a resident of Vila do V.

The episode highlights the need for urgent improvements in intercity service, ensuring safety, comfort and punctuality for passengers.
