Former minister’s advisor on the TSE was arrested, taken to the police station to give information and then released
The former advisor of Minister Alexandre de Moraes in (Superior Electoral Court), Eduardo Tagliaferro, was on Wednesday (1st.out.2025). The former advisor suggested that Moraes had leaked a press vehicle private messages from a group of WhatsApp from entrepreneurs. He then used the report to order searches and seizures against them. The defense also stated that Tagliaferro was “Surprised to be sought by the Italian police in his residence, to become aware of the existence of an extradition process linked to PET 12936, originated in inquiry 4972, in the STF.
According to Kuntz, he voluntarily handed over his documents, pledged to remain in the city where he lives and is prepared to contest the process.
“At the appropriate time, he will demonstrate that such expedients are arbitrary and illegal. We will adopt the appropriate measures in Brazil and Italy, with full respect for courts and confidence in justice.”said the lawyer.
