Alexander Trattner points to a green, glowing display case. It is only about one cubic meter in size and yet is a model for an entire future industry in Austria – green hydrogen. Trattner and his team of researchers test the electrolysis process in the showcase to see how durable the material used is. Electrolysis can be used to make hydrogen from green electricity. “We will convert many processes in industry that still require fossil fuels to green hydrogen,” says Trattner.
