The federal deputy (PSOL-SP), who assumes this Wednesday (29) the position of minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, criticized the governor of (PL), amid the crisis generated by the police operation that left 64 dead in the State. In a post on social media, Boulos stated that the governor, by accusing the federal government of omission, acts with “politics and bloody pyrotechnics”. The parliamentarian also highlighted that Castro was against the Public Security PEC, proposed by the Lula government to expand the Union’s actions in combating organized crime.
“The same governor who accuses the Lula government of omission was against the security PEC, which allows the federal government greater action in the fight against organized crime. He is more concerned with carrying out politicking and bloody pyrotechnics. Regrettable”, wrote Boulos. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), who returns to Brazil after a trip to Asia, has not yet officially commented on the operation in Rio nor on the exchange of statements between allies and the governor. Meanwhile, the federal government is preparing to send ministers to the State to discuss emergency security measures.
